The Scott County Sheriff's Office is one of a handful of Kentucky Law Enforcement
Agencies with a helicopter. The helicopter is flown and maintained by Deputy Dave
Willis and Deputy Jack Patrick. The helicopter was manufactured by Bell Aircraft, It is
equipped to fly day or night in support of patrol units on the ground or in a search and
rescue role.

| Deputy Ben Jones named Scott County Deputy of the Year, award given at the December 19th, Sheriff's Office Christmas Dinner. This award was well earned by Jones, he has been a strong asset to the Sheriff's Office since 2005. |
